The E3 Method
THE E3 METHOD
Structured training built around measurable progression.
Training that isn't random gets results that aren't random.
Most people who train consistently still plateau. Not because they lack effort — because their programme lacks structure. Random workouts produce random adaptations. The body adapts to what it's repeatedly asked to do, and if that changes every session without logic, it adapts to nothing in particular.
At Elevate, every session follows the same three-part framework: Strength, Muscle & Movement, and Conditioning. Each part has a specific physiological purpose. Each builds on the last. And across weeks and months, the cumulative effect is fitness that compounds — not fitness that resets every time you walk in.
This is what it means to train with a system.
Build a foundation that doesn't break.
Every session opens with compound strength work — squats, deadlifts, presses, pulls. These are the movements that develop structural capacity: the kind of strength that transfers to everything else you do, inside the gym and out. Loads progress deliberately across weeks. Technique is coached every session. You will get stronger, and you will know exactly why.
- Barbell and compound movement focus
- Progressive overload tracked across weeks
- Technique coached every session
- Loading scaled individually within the group
Build the body. Keep it moving well.
The second part addresses two things most programmes treat as opposites: building muscle and maintaining movement quality. Accessory work targets the muscles compound lifts miss — the ones responsible for balance, stability, and injury resistance. Mobility and movement drills keep the whole system running cleanly. You leave this part stronger in the details.
- Targeted accessory and hypertrophy work
- Mobility and movement quality drills
- Addresses muscular imbalances and weak points
- Supports longevity, not just short-term performance
Train your engine. Not just your muscles.
The final part of every session develops cardiovascular fitness and work capacity — the engine that powers everything else. Conditioning at Elevate is structured, not chaotic. Work-to-rest ratios are deliberate. Intensity is appropriate to the demand. Different sessions target different energy systems: aerobic base, lactate threshold, short-burst anaerobic capacity. You finish feeling worked, not wrecked.
- Structured intervals and circuits
- Deliberate work-to-rest ratios
- Builds aerobic and anaerobic capacity
- Intensity scaled to the individual
Three parts. One session. Everything reinforces everything.
When you train all three elements in every session, they compound each other. Strength work makes conditioning more effective. Conditioning supports recovery between strength sets. Muscle & Movement keeps the whole system running cleanly. The E3 Method isn't three separate workouts bolted together — it's one integrated session designed to make you fitter, stronger, and more resilient at the same time.
How progress works
The goal isn't a good session. It's a better one than last time.
Adaptation happens when the body is asked to do slightly more than it did before — and then given time to recover. That's the principle behind progressive overload, and it's the engine of the E3 Method.
Across a training block, loads increase, volume shifts, and intensity is periodised. You're not doing the same session on repeat — you're moving through a programme that's designed to take you somewhere specific.
Progress is tracked. Benchmarks are revisited. You always know where you are relative to where you started.
Individualised within the group
Same programme. Different loads. Coached for you.
The E3 Method is a group programme — but it's never a one-size-fits-all session. Coaches adjust loading, movement selection, and difficulty for every person in the room. A newer member and an experienced athlete can train the same session at the same time, each working at the level that's right for them. The structure is shared. The prescription is individual.
Weights are set based on your current capacity, not the group average.
Exercises are modified or substituted where needed — without disrupting the session.
Conditioning intensity and accessory volume are adjusted to match your training age and recovery.
You receive individual technique feedback within every session, not just at the start.
The member system
Your training, tracked.
Every E3 session is logged in the Elevate member system. You can see your session history, track your lifts, review your progress across blocks, and stay connected to your programme between sessions.
The system is built around the E3 structure — so your strength numbers, movement notes, and conditioning benchmarks are all in one place. No spreadsheets. No guesswork.
Your coach can see the same data. That means every session starts with context — not a blank slate.

The principles behind the method
Evidence-informed. Practically applied.
Progressive overload
The body adapts to increasing demands. Load, volume, and intensity are managed across blocks to drive consistent adaptation without overreaching.
Specificity
Training produces the adaptations it trains for. The E3 structure ensures strength, hypertrophy, and cardiovascular fitness are all developed — not just the one you happen to enjoy.
Recovery
Adaptation happens between sessions, not during them. Session structure, intensity management, and block periodisation are all designed with recovery in mind.
Consistency over intensity
The best training programme is the one you can sustain. E3 sessions are demanding but manageable — designed to be repeated week after week, year after year.
