Performance Training at Elevate
PERFORMANCE TRAINING AT ELEVATE.
Get stronger. Build capacity. Perform when it matters.
Training built around a goal, not a generic programme.
Performance training is different from general fitness. When you have a race, an event, or a specific target, your programme needs to be built around it — structured, progressive, and specific to what you're actually trying to do.
At Elevate, performance coaching is designed around your discipline, your timeline, and where you are right now. Whether you're preparing for your first HYROX, targeting a cycling event, or building the strength base that makes you a better runner, the coaching is specific to your goal.
Every performance athlete at Elevate trains in a facility limited to six people per session. That means the coaching attention, the equipment access, and the environment are never compromised.

Strength & Conditioning
Run faster. Run further. Run without breaking down.
Running performance is not just about logging miles. It is about building the strength, mobility, and aerobic capacity that let you run well — and keep running. Elevate's running coaching combines structured run programming with the strength and conditioning work that most runners skip and most coaches ignore. The result is an athlete who is more durable, more efficient, and better prepared for race day.
- 5K to marathon distance programming
- Strength work designed specifically for runners
- Movement quality and injury-resistant training
- Periodised around your race calendar
More power. Better endurance. Stronger off the bike.
Cycling performance is built in the gym as much as on the road. Elevate's cycling coaching addresses the strength imbalances, mobility restrictions, and conditioning gaps that limit output on the bike. Combined with structured on-bike programming, it produces athletes who are stronger, more efficient, and more durable across the full season.
- Power and endurance development
- Off-bike strength and mobility work
- Structured periodisation around events
- Suitable for road, gravel, and triathlon
Built for the demands of hybrid competition.
HYROX and hybrid events demand a specific combination of strength and endurance that most training programmes do not develop together. Elevate's hybrid coaching builds both simultaneously — the strength to push sleds and carry loads, and the conditioning to sustain effort across the full event. Structured, progressive, and specific to the format.
- Event-specific strength and conditioning
- Sled, carry, and functional movement training
- Aerobic base and threshold development
- Race-pace simulation and pacing strategy
The foundation every athlete needs.
Whatever your sport or discipline, strength and conditioning is the work that makes everything else better. Elevate's S&C coaching is built around the compound movements and energy system development that transfer directly to athletic performance — not generic gym programming dressed up as sport-specific training.
- Sport-specific strength programming
- Energy system development
- Movement quality and injury prevention
- Periodised around your competitive calendar
Why strength training matters
Strength training for endurance athletes.
Endurance athletes often treat the gym as optional. The evidence says otherwise. Structured strength training improves running economy, increases power output on the bike, and reduces the injury risk that ends seasons early.
The key is programming that complements your sport rather than competing with it. At Elevate, strength work for endurance athletes is designed to build the qualities that transfer — posterior chain strength, single-leg stability, hip and ankle mobility, and the capacity to hold form when fatigued.
This is not bodybuilding. It is not CrossFit. It is targeted, progressive strength work built around what your sport actually demands.
Running economy
Stronger legs and better mechanics mean less energy cost per stride.
Power transfer
Hip and posterior chain strength converts directly to cycling and running power.
Injury resilience
Targeted strength work addresses the imbalances that cause overuse injuries.
Late-race durability
Athletes who strength train hold form longer when fatigue sets in.
Testing & progress
Measure what matters.
Performance coaching without measurement is guesswork. At Elevate, progress is tracked through regular check-ins, session data recorded in the E3 app, and structured reassessments that show where you have improved and where the next focus should be. Your coach reviews this data and adjusts your programme accordingly — so training evolves as you do.
Specific testing protocols are confirmed during your intro session based on your discipline and goals.
Advanced training environment
Hypoxic training at Elevate.
For athletes looking to accelerate adaptation, Elevate offers access to hypoxic training — controlled low-oxygen environments that stimulate the physiological responses normally associated with altitude. Used strategically alongside your performance programme, hypoxic sessions can support aerobic development, red blood cell production, and recovery capacity.
